IB Paper 2 - Topic 12: Cold War - Editable revision templates.
It is one thing to know a subject well and quite another to know how to answer an exam essay question on that subject. Fortunately the IB history exam closely follows the published syllabus and therefore if you understand what the syllabus expects you to know, you should not be suprised by the exam. Download the following templates and fill out the boxes with clear explanations and precise factual knowledge. Then learn them. Easy.
In the exam you are guaranteed two essay questions on the Cold War and at least one question has been asked about the topic 'Rivalry, mistrust and accord' and one of the remaining two topics 'Leaders and nations' and 'Cold War crises'. It makes sense therefore to prepare content that allows you to answer these questions. If you prepare to write an answer about two Cold War crises in two regions and two Cold War leaders from the same two crises from different regions, you are almost guaranteed to have at least one question to answer.
